New Hike added!

Our latest article is “The Fragile Magic of Narnia Trail Near Cedarville.”

I’ve hiked Narnia myself, and magical really is the best word I have for it. Between the moss-covered boulders, cedar trees, exposed roots, handmade signs, and mysterious lantern, it feels unlike almost any other trail in the area.

The article looks at what the hike is really like, the mystery behind the Narnia name, and the conservation work being done to protect this fragile place.

Welcome to the new Yooper Outdoors Community!

We built this as a place where we can share the Upper Peninsula places we love, swap stories, and help each other discover somewhere new.

To get things started, what is one place in the U.P. that you think everyone should visit at least once?

It can be a waterfall, trail, historic site, fishing spot, roadside stop, or somewhere that simply means a lot to you.

I’ll start: Bond Falls. No matter how many times I visit, that first view of the falls never gets old.

Let’s see how many great U.P. places we can come up with!
